The Margatiga Dam is poised to bolster Indonesia's national food security in Lampung. A reliable water supply will facilitate double to triple cropping annually. Specifically, the dam will irrigate 16,588 hectares in Lampung Province, comprising Jabung Kiri (5,638 ha) and Jabung Kanan (10,950 ha) Irrigation Areas.
