The Trans-Sumatera Toll Road, a 2,840-kilometer corridor comprising 24 distinct segments, aims to link Lampung and Aceh. This megaproject, launched under the Indonesian government's Masterplan for Acceleration and Expansion of Economic Development (MP3EI) in 2010-2011, commenced construction in 2015. Following a decade of infrastructure planning and development, over 10 segments of the Trans-Sumatera Toll Road are now operational.
